‘Milk Is A Poison!’ – Putting To Rest The Lie, ‘Milk Is Good For You’…

OK rant coming up. I do this sometimes, when something REALLY annoys me…. but stay with me… unlike the poison I’m about to talk about, what you read might improve your life!

Remember these advertising slogans (UK market)? “Full of natural goodness”, “Is your man getting enough?”, “Milk’s Gotta Lotta Bottle”  “Drinka pinta milka day”. They were some of the many successful slogans created by the ‘Milk MARKETING Board’ (1933 to 1994). Readers from other countries will I’m sure recognise their own country’s have equivalent propaganda slogans from their own dairy industry. Over decades of brilliantly crafted advertising campaigns, the public were brainwashed into believing that ‘Milk is good for you!’.

The reality is milk is toxic! Period! But don’t take my word for it. Let me give you some quotes….

In his book ‘Baby and Child Care;, Dr. Benjamin Spock wrote, “I no longer recommend dairy products. . The essential fats that are needed for brain development are found in vegetable oils. Milk is very low in these essential fats and high in the saturated fats that encourage artery blockage and weight problems as children grow.”


Michael Klaper, M.D., nutritional expert and author of Pregnancy, Children, and the Vegan Diet: “Humans are the only creatures that drink milk from the mother of another species. It’s as unnatural for a child to drink the milk of a cow as it is for a dog to nurse from a giraffe! Human children have no nutritional requirements for cow’s milk and grow up healthy and strong without it. Cow’s milk and the products made from it are laced with foreign, frequently allergy-inciting bovine protein and often contain hydrocarbon pesticides and other chemical contaminants, as well as health-endangering saturated fat. Clinical experience suggests that cow’s milk is linked to numerous common health problems (runny noses, allergies, ear infections, recurrent bronchitis, asthma, etc.) that often keep people returning to their doctors’ offices instead of to their jobs or classrooms. Parents should feel good about giving their children the many nutritious, tasty alternatives to dairy products instead.”


Still think ‘Milk is good for you’?. PLEASE think again….

Who do you know who suffers from the following symptons?

  • Bloating
  • Abdominal pain
  • Flatulence
  • Loose watery stool – with a degree of urgency an hour of two after ingestion of milk (diarrhoea!)
  • Perianal itching due to acidic stools
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

It could be that you are ‘lactose intolerant’?

  • Lactose is a disaccharide sugar found exclusively in milk. Absorption of lactose is dependent upon the enzyme lactase.
  • Lactase is the enzyme that hydrolyses lactose to the monosaccharides, glucose and galactose, and is in the tips of the villi of the small intestine.
  • This enzyme is essential in babies but tends to decrease in amount after the age of 2 although symptoms of lactose intolerance rarely occur before the age of 6.
  • It is argued that it is only because we have the unusual habit of ingesting milk from other species, usually the cow, that the enzyme persists beyond the age of weaning


HEALTH WARNING: There may be OTHER causes of the above symptons! Some of them potentially VERY serious so if you don’t have a diagnosis, PLEASE go to see your doctor and get a proper diagnosis! I am NOT a medical professional.

Heard enough? Just let me add the following from….

“Cow’s milk is the number one source of allergies in children, and research links consumption of dairy products, including cow’s milk, to colic (stomach cramps), autism, chronic ear infections, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (type 1 or “juvenile-onset” diabetes), acne, obesity, flatulence, constipation, mucus, and a variety of other ailments”.

But isn’t milk a vital source of calcium for strong bones?

“In one study, funded by the National Dairy Council, a group of postmenopausal women were given three 8-ounce glasses of skim milk every day for two years, and their bones were compared to those of a control group of women not given the milk. The dairy group consumed 1,400 mg of calcium per day and lost bone at twice the rate of the control group. According to the researchers, “this may have been due to the average 30 percent increase in protein intake during milk supplementation. … The adverse effect of increases in protein intake on calcium balance has been reported from several laboratories, including our own” (they then cite 10 other studies). Says McDougall, “Needless to say, this finding did not reach the six o’clock news.” This is one study that the dairy industry won’t be repeating any time soon”

Now if you don’t believe me… ‘WAKE UP!’ and please, go and do you own research. It’s all out there if you care to look… ‘Milk is Toxic!’ Period!
